Youngest Odell Enters Double Digits
Cameron celebrated his 10th birthday last week twice: once at home, and once in Cape Charles, VA, where he was visiting his grandparents. Mom made a triple layer chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. Candles from several previous birthday celebrations decorated the top. As you can see from the grin, the celebrant is quite happy.
In Cape Charles, Cameron enjoyed another chocolate cake with peanut butter icing only not as fancy since it had to travel under the passenger seat in the Suburu. When asked what he enjoyed most about this year's birthday celebrations, he replied, "Opening my card and discovering that I was going to get a new bike."
For his birthday dinner, Dad took the family to Ruby Tuesday's. He had originally asked for swordfish steaks, but was told it would cost less to take the whole family out to dinner. He ordered Wisconsin Cheese Fries and Brocolli Cheese Soup, one of his favorite things to eat.
"It was great celebrating my birthday twice with two cakes," he remarked, "although swordfish steaks would have been the best."
yay! Happy Birthday, Cameron!! congrats on making it to the double digits :-)
(lol - we were just talking about swordfish in class the yesterday!)
